there seams to be two seperate debates here:

1. who lasts longer, in terms of years
2. who lasts longer on individual trips

i interprated the question to be 1 and answered that

if 2 was the question, i again say that there is no correlation, but taking care of yourself doesn't come into play as much - unless your already in poor health

tagger - i'm picturing you in short shorts, a bright colored sleeveless t-shirt and a headband in an aerobics class

Given identical twins that ate the same type of food and equal ambition for surfcasting then I'd say the white collar. During their younger years, I don't know, maybe a toss up. However, as they get older injuries of younger years come back in the form of arthritis, etc and it is more likely the blue collar labor worker will have these aliments that require back or knee surgery because they are a higher risk.

As an aside.
Just look at friends of your age that were jocks (white and blue) and were good in sports throughout and ten years after high school, now they have knee, back, torn muscles, etc.
