Face it Numby, us eel fishers are true environmental stewards. Eels are renewable, biodegradable, and non toxic.

Its you plug fishermen that deforest our woodlands, kill the ozone with all those aerosol paints, and puncture the eyeballs out of our schoolies with your two and three sets of treble hooks.

The good news is there is hope for folks like you. In time, I believe you'll see the light....

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Sounds like a bumper sticker to me:
"Save a schoolie, blind an eel"

Once again the government has worked you all (and me) into a frenzy.
There are no facts people!
Just a silly press release.
Calm the hell down.
Salty, I will buy your plugs today, tommorrow and for as long as you make them.
Can we please debate this when the REAL facts come out?

Good flippin LORD! I wish you guys all cared this much about access issues.

In fact if anyone cared enough about any of the issues we have to deal with they would be at all (or any) of the meetings pertaining to such things. Like the MSBA or MBBA or RFA................................. and be speaking out there instead of a message board where all you are gonna get is people agreeing or disagreeing with you and non stop BS.
There are people out there fighting for you. Non stop. ALWAYS! AND they need your support!
You have a few choices... Shut up... join and speak up (and vote)... spend your life whining or just ignore it.
Everyone wants to cry when they get shut off but nobody wants to play the game.(while your friends bust their a s s e s for you)
It's not a game anymore.
The lack of interest and commitment has made me crazy for years.(to the point of just giving up). Why should a handful of people fight your battle?
If you don't like the way things are SPEAK UP!
You all only speak out when it effects you personally.
Joining together is the only way to beat these people.
You can ignore me all you want but the way I am looking at this is that they are trying to ban lead in National Parks, not the ocean.
CCNS is a National Park (Hey Plum Island is in there too). But all lead bans previously made are FRESH WATER, DRINKING WATER.
All previous lead bans have been for under 2 oz.
In my opinion you are all freaking out about nothing.
I am sure that when the facts come out it will all be handled as it should be and the people
who are always watching out for you and taking care of you will be right on top of it, as always.
You need to support them.
