Pogie Seiner Boat in Wallaston today!!!!

The environmental patrol was patrolling Wollaston 8-19-09 at 8:30AM.

Poagies were jumping Saturday evening, haven't seen one since.
I typically drive along the beach AM and PM, looking for signs of life.

The damage has been done, the bastage(s) have tucked it to the recreational fishermen once again.

It is tough enough to find a gamefish in the inner harbor, strip the bait away and you've got a desert, not to mention starving gamefish.

The commercial chicken feed (protein) fishing for poagies has to be stopped along the entire East Coast.

The gamefish need to eat, no bluefish for two consecutive years says it all.

Help our guardians to do their job, call 800-632-8075 to report questionable activities by anyone.

Believe me, the Environmental Police are on our side.

Always play by the rules, they are there for everyone's benefit.

If this boat was seining where it should not have been it is unfortunate the envirnmental police couldn't have put a stop to it that morning, within a few hours. I am sure somewhere in the harbor one of there boats was cruising or tied up. Better yet I am surprised they don't track these boats a little closer knowing the controversy they create. Maybe they would have known thry were heading 15mi south. Too bad...........
