This is torture for me...I need one of these bad, real bad. I am putting this on my list now. If I didn't have two kids heading to college I would build one right now but I need to find a way to make this happen.

Did you design it? What software did you use?

PS... keep the photos coming!

but you'd be surprised at how many two by's you can find free on Craigs list...

it never ceases to amaze me....

The Plans came from Just Garage Plans

I printed out the floorplan and my contractor drew up the detailed plans. We actually have overbuilt by a lot. We did a 6' foundation rather than 4'. Frame is all 2X6 and the roof is custom
trusses and 3/4 exterior plywood. Grace Ice and Water shield and architectural shingles to match my home.

I just traded some firewood for a propane forced hot air furnace that I will install when the builder is done.

I have lived here for 38 years and always wanted a big building for my boat, equipment, tools, etc. Kids are out of my hair and grown so now is the time to do this. What the hell. 1 or 1.5% interest on your money sucks. Might as well spend it on something I can enjoy and use and adds value to the property.

No boat, back in the suds.
