Like I said, big this year, problemo is, too big, never would da figured a fish could be too big....

I disagree. 'Goosefish' John Lee taught me the commercial/sushi grade way; hit them in the gills with the knife just enough to get them bleeding and then into water. They don't get it all out when you hit them across the throat latch, they expire too fast.

That’s my SOP, 10” Dexter with a wooden handle up under the gil plates Into bucket,,,,
That fish above

Dont tell nico he might get mad at you. Maybe I am lashing out because you mass guys can catch seabass and we have to twiddle our thumbs for a couple of weeks.....
