The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 02:44 PM Where is the bloo crab? Sleeping? Tired? Not going anywhere for a while? Well, I got to 750!
:bounce:   :bounce: :jester:
Anbody watch that show 24, I missed it last week? Awesome show - best show on TV in my opinion when the baby let's me watch it.
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 02:47 PM Going for full page 51 I think it is domination of the Northern Alliance! Area 51, is there and Area 51 for Stripers? Any thoughts, I know I used to fish Millstone - not anymore....
:af:
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 02:49 PM I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round, talking to myself so I say to myself - Self you are recieving your bonus this Friday, sure it's only 50% b/c the company is going under but still better then nothing, what to do with it, what to do with it?
:o ::o :o :o :o
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 02:51 PM Buy Gwenyth (5 weeks old) a gift? Get the wife something nice for V-Day? Which, bye the way she is at her mom's this week with the baby, does this make me exempt from the day??
;) :laughs: :laughs:
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 02:53 PM OR do I buy myself the Orvis Breathable waders and a nice schoolie pole - DING DING, give Iceman a prize - in fact throw him in a reel to go with that pole, certainly Ice can use another reel - we all need to buy more reels.........
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 02:56 PM Ahhhhh, 51 is MINE. I will buy those Orvis waders and put the rest into Gwen's bank account to be opened this week by me. Send the wife a Valentine's Day card to her mom's that she does not know is coming, asked her if she needed anything, she said NO - the baby was her valentine - works for me - I think I'll marry that gal - wait I already did....
;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 02:59 PM It has been good sleeping this week, chilling, and playing hockey. Butch Goring was on my line for last 2 mo's - he just got sent to coach in Germany! Also, played with Luc Robitaile while he was in NY, play against Glen Anderson, and played against BenWa Hogue - pretty good league - you gotta do something during the winters? Miss the Baby and Wife however....
:bl2: :jump: :laugha: :hihi: :hs:
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:01 PM People really do win on SB or @ least talk to themselves, you could be doing much worse things with yourself??? Let's ponder that thought? OK, next thought if you are gonna burn a bridge, C-4 the sucker. Man, I cannot wait to get to page 52, 51 is giving me the creeps...
:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:

GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:04 PM I think for the great job you just did on 50 and 51 you should get two poles and two new reels!!!
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:05 PM HIT - YOU SANK MY BATTLESHIP. This is why I fish from shore....
Man 51 is harder than I thought? Especially when your all ALONE, 1 is the lonliest number, thank god I have multiple personalities to keep me going. Look Ma, no hands....
;) ;) :p ;) ;) ;) :p :p :smash: :smash: :smash: :laughs: :laughs:
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:07 PM GBOutdoors - you killed me man, what else is there in life, you couldn't give me 51 could you, all i need is this lampshade, this remote control, I don't need you I don't need anybody.. I'm in ICE LAND....

GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:09 PM Keep going I will let you have 52 all to your self but make it fast its hard for me to shut my trap for more than a few minutes
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:10 PM Thanks GBOutdoors, I can share. I will get those 2 reels and 2 poles. Ice is happy again, thanks for the relief GB, can I call you GB? I'm saiiilllinnnngggggg!!!

GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:12 PM See to late I snuck into 52 with out even knowing it . Does that meen I have to finsh it now. But one is the lonliest number you will ever do.
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:15 PM Oooh, I think you must finish 53 young Luke - it's all yours, did you see 24 last week?
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:15 PM 52 - 53 - it's all ballbearings...
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:16 PM Whatta ya need a refresher course?
GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:17 PM Iceman6 GB it is and always has been. Now what kind of rods and what reels? I like penns myself but they are not to popular these days. Back in the 70s they where the best of the best.
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:20 PM GB, have Custom wrap Penns' 10 fter and 8 fter. Have Penn 704, 4400, 5500, 8500, and the new I think 5600L - the bigger Liveliner reel - love it.... Have little 7 ft' schoolie pole, I want something that can throw up to 1 or 1.5 oz jig, sick action, light as hell, can cast a mile, do you know of such a pole, I'm thinking getting steelhead pole and use it for mr. stripah???
ICe
GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:23 PM Spin or conv. reel on that rod??
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:25 PM GB, Spin Spin Spin, that's all I use.... Will most likely put 4400, 5500 or Liveliner on the pole...
GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:27 PM Glad to see that there are a few out there that still like the Penns. I looked at the baitrunner the other day at Bucos and liked it . Thinking of getting one as I do not have any baitrunners at this time have always used conv. for bait. How long have you had it??:)
GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:28 PM Looks like a good reason to get a new rod and reel! :D
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:29 PM Got it last year around want to say August - used it for the fall run with 30lb Fire - took a 35lber from Cape in September - no complaints with reel - real smooth, love the baitrunner feature as I mostly fish eels @ night - still too early to tell but I got it as a gift so no complaints here.....
chris L 02-12-2002, 03:31 PM blue becareful what you wish for ! my wife and everyone I know say that one of me is way more than enough ! I couldnt even imagine another like me . My 6 brothers and 2 sisters arent even like me in the least .
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:32 PM GB, you never answered my schoolie pole question, i have pretty high criteria...
GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 03:33 PM Sorry iceman but I have to go for a few minutes. One of my customers just called and he wants to start a house in Fairhaven tomorrow and needs the lumber out there in the am. No plans just go down and measure up the foundation and go from there!!Yea right guess thats what I like about this job you never know. SEE YA on54
The Iceman 6 02-12-2002, 03:37 PM GB, no problem, Fair Haven as in New Haven - that's where I grew up? Are we talking the same Haven? Could use a Pepe's pizza right now....
Ice
bloocrab 02-12-2002, 03:45 PM BAMMM!!!! ......ya just got Cross-checked ICE!! :D
bloocrab 02-12-2002, 03:47 PM .....your off base a little .....ICE.........Fairhaven isn't in Conn.....well not the FairHaven....GBs' talkin bout......its a 20 minuter boatride to the famous Cuttyhunk Island.....
AnthonyN 02-12-2002, 03:48 PM Hey ice what about a St. Croix TS70MHF Inshore for schoolies? Pair that with a Shimano Stradic 4000 and you have a killer schoolie combo!!!!!!!!! The rod handles from 1/2 to 1 1/2oz 10 to 20lb line 7ft with a fast action MH.
What do you think?
bloocrab 02-12-2002, 03:50 PM Wish I could hang out fellas.......
Duty calls......I'm off to bring my Godchild to skating class!
.....Iceman should appreciate that...:D
AnthonyN 02-12-2002, 03:51 PM catch ya later bloo!
AnthonyN 02-12-2002, 03:56 PM That combo I metioned above would be perfect IMO lets see what others come up with as well but the St. Croix Inshore TS70MHF paired with a Shimano Stradic 4000 can't be beat for the price!
JohnR 02-12-2002, 03:58 PM BAMMM!!!! to Bloo "Emirill" Crab... Cross - checked LMAO...
Ice - yer scaring me with yer hockey, you playing with these guys or dreamin' about it? That's what Liam is going to play when he's older ;) - hockey
I know what you mean about Gwenyth being the best V-Day gift you could ever get your wife. Liam was the same for TheBetterHalf last year but this year I gotts ta produce  ... Wait until she's a few months older, even more fun and less outright fear that you'll drop her on her head or something...
GB - It's not that the Penns are out of favor these days. It's more that they aren't the only affordable game in town anymore. They also have not exactly been at the forefront of the technological advancement of the reel in recent years. But they do work and most of the models are pretty solid...
New Haven, that's like 20 minutes from the famous Leetes Islands, right? Sorry, I'll take Cuttyhunk :D :D :D
GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 04:31 PM Ice if you are looking for a real light rig and some great fun try the one I bought last year at Bucos it a ST.CROIX 7' lite power mod-fast action scII graphite BEN DOERR SURF SYSTEM/ss70L and I put a Shimano 4000fg on it. This rig is so light you feel like your not holding a rod and reel at all. Great for schoolies and (small blues).See John I do have some reels other than Penns also the 5000fg on a 8' BEN DOERR SURF
GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 04:34 PM Thats it I leave for an hour and every one comes and goes or is it me:eek: Do I stink that bad today????
Saltheart 02-12-2002, 04:37 PM Hey whats the poo poo on New haven fishing? I believe the biggest striper caught anywhere in the last 10 years was from New Haven harbor??

GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 05:45 PM That was the best duck hunting spot on the east coast 30 years ago you would have to duck ha ha ha and get out of the way as the flock would come down from up north. I spent alot of nights trying to get my waders dried out in time for the next morn. hunt back then.

GBOUTDOORS 02-12-2002, 05:53 PM Red you are right on the money and with the gps on the boat its not to hard to be right on the spot. TheBetterHalf 02-13-2002, 06:28 AM Hey, anyone catch the morning news today? Some guy named Patrick took hostages at Fairfield University last night in CT........
Now, I don't want to start a whole big hoopla or anything, just thought it was kind of interesting.
Happy Hump Day everyone:p
Slipknot 02-13-2002, 06:52 AM Oh My .......

JohnR 02-13-2002, 07:18 AM Just so there is no nasty grams or confusion, it wasn't "OUR" former friend involved http://striped-bass.com/images/new/martian.gifhttp://striped-bass.com/images/new/ripperwhore.gif. The news said it was a Fairfield University Student that had taken hostages - fortunately the people were released....
Honey - why did you have to mention that name ;) - your bannished for 20 minutes - Red - leave her alone (just kiddin' ;) http://striped-bass.com/images/new/troutslap.gif )
Here is the news link...

TheBetterHalf 02-13-2002, 07:33 AM Twenty minutes from when you posted or twenty minutes from when I read your reply, Mr. Meanie? (actually it was a former student and Liam was the one that pointed out the story to me!)
;)
Fishpart 02-13-2002, 08:53 AM Still moving along here
Got Stripers 02-13-2002, 09:06 AM I've been too busy to do much, plus I'm trying to get the new company page designed and up, but I thought I better put my 2 cents in.
TheBetterHalf 02-13-2002, 09:13 AM Okay, shifting gears to something more relevant:
the Providence Journal today has a page 1 story about the commercial fishing license issue:
"Tonight, state officials are unveiling thier first major effort to overhaul the state's commercial fishing laws and start a process they hope will lead to more flounder and lobsters and to a better livelihood for local fishermen.
...If passed, new commercial fishing licenses would be issued only for specific species, and only if those species are sufficiently abundant to support additional fishermen. Those already holding lecenses would not be affected."
I know most members here are recreational fishers, but how to you weigh in on this?
The Iceman 6 02-13-2002, 09:30 AM Bloo - in new haven there is a fair haven but yes I would rather be 20 minutes from where GB is - Cuttyhunk of course. Fair Haven ain't the best of neighborhoods. When I'm in new haven area usually fish meigs point rip @ hammo or milfords' gulf beach, or w. haven sandbar even pennfield. But I usually travel the extra hour or hours to RI or the Cape when going hardcore! Saltheart thanks for coming to new havens defense - yes there was a mighty big fish that came out of new haven harbor, i believe it's hangin' in dees tackle shop? Anthony and GB - thank you for the recommendations on the schoolie pole - will look into it but "definitely" don't need another reel - well maybe just one? ;) John, yeah I skated with those guys get Liam skating @ age 3 - I'll come down and skate with him! I'm a simple man, if I ain't with wife and baby - I'm playing hockey or fishing. Funny how it all really works, it's how your brought up by your family and what they do. My great grandfather played ice hockey and fished, my grandfather the same, my father the same, 2 older brothers the same, did I have a choice? Soooo GLAD that I too play hockey and fish, my dad taught me everything I know - and we both still learn more about each sport every day, you're never too old to learn and try new things. did my dad force me into either sport - no, told me i could stop any time. My daughter Gwen will fish and play hockey (she could stop at any time), the usa women beat germany 10 - 0 yesterday. looking forward to the men's competition, usa has a good of chance as any team, my prediction is it will between them and canada....
Ice
Clammer 02-13-2002, 10:16 AM Hi the Betterhalf, those changes may not all be for the best, some of the propasals
no more multi purpose license
limited entry in some fisheries
closed entry in others
proposed for shellfishing, no commercial license if you don.t dig so mant days a year/////
another, if you don.t make at least half your income by shellfishing---no license
After 42 years of shellfishing they may possibly just take it away from me /// somethings seriously wrong!!!!
that leaves me with one option// going back to commercial rod and reel, and if enough are forced into or out of fisheries things will change//but will they be for the better/////////
I.ve seen many, many times where they have made political, management, or enforcement decisions and they have really screwed up////////////////////////////////////:af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af:
hoo where to start???
well first of all I think It is a conspiracy against the "night crew"...we were kickin some tooshie!!! and I think the downtime was all fixed so that the day crew could catch up!!LOL
stripe1........very funny...........
JohnR 02-13-2002, 10:28 AM Clammer - Are you going to the meetings? If you are not, maybe you should.
I sat in one a while back, specifically talking about the shellfish -v- this -v- that and there were several possible paths, like:
Full license & apprentice / senior (you got a little while before that ;) )
Existing lic holders having much less impact than new entry, both from other species or from new users...
Bunch of stuff. You should go to the website and read what has been passed so far...
http://www.ci.uri.edu/Projects/rifish/default.html
now in seriousness.......
Iam looking for any thoughts you may have (I know many of you live in the vicinity)
as we speak the hubby is at a meeting with his boss about the future of the company. We MAY make a move(of course we have mixed emotions still) but we may just go for it! so my question is....if you had any suggestions on an area from R.I. to the Cape what would be a quiet area but still affordable????? We just dont know where to start looking if we decide to do this!!!!!
Thanks!!!
AH poop...I gotta get ready for work now I am late.......later...
The Iceman 6 02-13-2002, 11:00 AM could this be the end of page 56 - and onto page 57? Time will tell. John, what is up with the stars???
:smash:
Fishpart 02-13-2002, 12:43 PM Jenn,
I like my area in NW RI, roural yet close to civilization. We get almost the most snow in the state, but not really enough to sled. 20 minutes from the airport or Providence, but 56 miles from Weekapaug and 75 miles to the east end of the Ditch.
AnthonyN 02-13-2002, 12:53 PM I used to get jealous of Glocester.....
No school Foster-Glocester!!!
Figures it was always raining in my part of Rhody :(
JohnR 02-13-2002, 01:49 PM Jenn - depends. Will you two have jobs or need jobs?
**** - you can add stars or delete stars by going to "Rate This Thread" - 4-5 stars yellow 4 or less blue.... That's what you are all asking about, right :smash:
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 03:08 PM Ok if John does not shut us down tonight I figure we can hit 1000. Still would like to see some of the almost "4000 " thats right I said (4000) watchers to post just one wow we would be on top I bet.
JohnR 02-13-2002, 03:25 PM :D :gf: :bshake: :chatter :gorez: :humpty: :hee:
Striper1 02-13-2002, 05:29 PM Do you think there is any fish around here in the summer:D
Striper1 02-13-2002, 05:34 PM Could this be 57 .............
Striper1 02-13-2002, 05:42 PM Jenn that pic is from a cabin right on the shores of Moose Head lake.
Swimmer 02-13-2002, 06:12 PM Osama Bin Laden was kicking around some rubble left over from the latest bombing, and found a copper jug with a wax plug. He pried off the wax plug and out popped a female genie. How may I serve you master, Master?" she inquired/
Osama was not impressed. "Don't want anything from a female! he said, churlishly.
But Master, I MUST DO SOMETHING FOR YOU, or I have to go back into confinement! Please, isn't their anything I can do for you?"
"All right," snapped Osama, "tomorrow morning, I want to find three american women in bed with me, ready to do what they do best! Now, get lost!"
"Your wish is my command," said the genie (miffed), and then vanished.
The next morning when Osama woke up, he had Lorena Bobbit, Tonya Harding, and Hillary Clinton in bed with him; his penis was gone, his leg was broken, and he had no medical insurance......:laughs:
Swede 02-13-2002, 06:36 PM Striper1 the fishing pier at the mouth is a well known Sculpin hotspot!;) :laughs: :smash:

yeah....keep talkin!!!!
I have heard there is some awesome riding there but havent tried it out yet!
john...the reason qwe would be moving if we decide to would be so my husband could KEEP his job (long story but it has to do with dealership terrirories:rolleyes: )...me....well restaurants need cooks all the time so I am not to worried.... I guess they talked more R.I. but things are still in the air.......and we still have mixed emotions as well.....(yes I would be closer to the water but........

Thanks guys....I guess we'll just go with the flow for now and do our reseach and who knows!!!

GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 07:37 PM Good evening Jenn think we can push this thing over 1000 tonight???
Picses
It might take awhile, but you'll get it all done. You may feel overwhelmed by the greatness or beauty of the thing that you're attempting, but it's important for you to try to ride out these emotions and get beyond them. In your heart you know what you're capable of doing -- and now it's time to show the rest of the world
This is the perfect time to cross the threshold of your limits to find the undiscovered country that has always beckoned, Pisces. Well what do you know??????? that was pretty freaky......and I read it AFTER that other post!!!!!!
Hello! 100 huh??? I dunno...what is it at...lemme go check....

Leo...
The obvious fighting might be over, but the war is still raging on. As yesterday's actions proved, the victor of the last small battle still needs a strategy. Work on opening your mind and loosening your grip. If diplomacy fails, the Lion still has enough control to pounce on something that refuses to lie still. Your physical strength is at its peak, but that doesn't mean that exerting it is the best way to solve problems

can you substitute "keyboard" for "pen"????? if so 1000 here we come!!!
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 07:50 PM Last and only time I ever whent sledding was in N.H. and look what I ran into:eek:

Gemini
If things aren't going the way you hoped or expected them to, find a way to take control of the situation. When it comes to implementing plans and ideas, drivers do far better than navigators right now. With your hands on the wheel, no one else has to suffer from your ongoing urge to shift direction. Your time is best spent among people who share your philosophies, Gemini. You may even feel like proposing marriage to someone who is obviously on your wavelength.
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 07:58 PM Last year in Mulunkis Maine I think i spelled it right but then who would know.:laughs:
Striper1 02-13-2002, 08:01 PM Hello Jenn and GB.
not the best pic but there is a moose in this pic
maine is a great place for the sleds trails are well marked.
wow! You wouldnt catch me out there trying to FIND a bear!
my husband is the hunter in this household....he's going on a boar hunt in a few months..... I'd rather go fishin!!
I see it!
Do you ride???str1???
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 08:08 PM I think if I were on the ground I would rather run into the bear than the moose. I have hunted both with bow but always from a tree stand. And the only moose I have ever seen from the stand I did not shoot at I just watched him as he tore all the small trees around mine out of the ground with his rack and looked at me as if to say go ahead make my day !:err:
Striper1 02-13-2002, 08:10 PM No I want to do it I know I would love it.
Renting is to $$$$$
I spent all my time fishing or wishing I was fishing:)
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 08:14 PM Jenn will you let him put one up on the wall if he gets a good one?not only are they good to eat but they look good too:laughs: :laughs:
OK...It came out with a weird look to it??? beats me what I did wrong...but anyway...this is a sample of one of the trails up there...and if you look really close way up on the trail you see a black dot....well its a moose!!!!(yes...it really is I swear)
the snow was so deep at the time he wouldnt get off the trail and we hung back for a while as to not run him down.
we were behind him for a LONG time until he did a 180 and headed for us!! (shortly after we realized there were sleds coming the other way! FINALLY>>>>>bloop.....into the woods...

put it on the wall??? why not I have turkey a$$ in my freezer!!!

str1.....if we actually get snow somewhere where we can go for a day (not a major event I mean) we'll have to hook up!
when we go way up north there is a rental across the street....a whole family of five rented sleds for the weekend for $175 a DAY!!!! OUCH!!! they could have bought sleds and traded them in and come home with more money in their pockets! its crazy!
oh...not to mention the $375 a nite they spent on the sweet they rented!

It was alot of fun teaching him how to field dress in the dark. :smash: That was on thursday, we were leaving on saturday at noon. I had'nt seen any on thurs or friday. http://striped-bass.com/images/gb_0695.jpg
TheSpecialist 02-13-2002, 09:33 PM He is getting it mounted. I had to beat him over the head to get him to mount it. THen he ask the taxidermist if it would last hanging in his shed. :smash: He was gonna spend 400 to mount the thing then hang it in his shed.:af: If he does'nt hang it in his house it is coming to mine. It is his first deer and it was a hunt I will never forget.
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 09:34 PM Goose been luck for 8 years now, some the best hunting land in eastern Mass. I have 7 large fields planted with alfalfa and this summer I am going to put in one large field of corn. Some nights we have counted as many as 32 deer in one field:eek:
Goose 02-13-2002, 09:34 PM Who offers "GOOD" bear hunts NH or Maine?
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 09:36 PM John they tried black but could not find the bear afterwards:laughs: :laughs: :laughs:
TheSpecialist 02-13-2002, 09:36 PM I hunt my buddy's property in Easton. I am thinking of planting some of that imperial clover, the no plow stuff. I think we need to have a deer hunting get together
TheSpecialist 02-13-2002, 09:38 PM One year while hunting deer in NH I had a bear walk out in front of me cutting across a logging road. Talk about close call.
Goose 02-13-2002, 09:41 PM GB, your killin me.I hunt mostly in Dartmounth and have been succesful last 6 years 50% bucks and does .I tooken about 5 or 6 bucks but I always lookin for MR BIG. Aren't we all. Theres an excellent book on huntin farmland bucks by John trout JR. check it out.
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 09:42 PM not good but great hunts in Maine $900.00 for the week all the food you can eat and the smallmouth fishing is out of this world. Nothing to get 100 or more per day:eek: 5lbs
redcrbbr 02-13-2002, 09:43 PM was deer hunting in NH and smelled a bear, needless to say i left the area
redcrbbr 02-13-2002, 09:49 PM gee...i hope i didn't scare everyone away. fixing reefers over the phone. now thats the kind of repairs i like:D
Goose 02-13-2002, 09:51 PM Specialist, they say we need more hunters. This area ( south eastern mass) is gettin to crowded, as soon as you start comin across decent sign, theres tree stands. Its gettin harder and harder.Plus nobody wants you on there land. Its nice when you hunt local, close to home. But sooner or later I'll be going up north to, I got family up in NH. Different type of woods up there.

redcrbbr 02-13-2002, 10:03 PM ya know your best bet is to find a farmer and offer to do some work for him. maybe throwing hay bales or bringing him fish. it's a tough town to get on the inside if no one knows ya
JohnR 02-13-2002, 10:04 PM No monsters for me last year, biggest 2 were at 27 & 28 pounds... This year I'll get a 50 (or 3) ;)

redcrbbr 02-13-2002, 10:22 PM don't do much deer hunting anymore, fact i don't get much hunting at all. spend spring, summer and fall away from the wife and kids(things will start to change this year) fishing. think wife would divorce me if i started hunting again. love goose and duck hunting. don't do much duck since they cut the limits
Goose 02-13-2002, 10:23 PM Your gonna have to join me and GB at hacker,Last year blues got ther may9th Bass where there about 2 weeks earlyer (keepers)
redcrbbr 02-13-2002, 10:24 PM john R and fishpart are members of s-b. john being the big guy
JohnR 02-13-2002, 10:24 PM I think that was Fishpart's 2 piece AllStar made @ M&Ds in Wareham - my rod is a stealth rod that is invisible at night ;)
Goose - I do like CMS's stuff but they start you off with Pac Bay guides and then move you up to Fujis. I like to start with the Fujis but I guess it's really personal preference...
RED - we are gonna sneak up on that spot this year too as I'd really like to learn that bar, as well as the spots about 1.5 miles SW ;)
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 10:26 PM Red you ever fish the yatch club peir?
redcrbbr 02-13-2002, 10:27 PM not familiar with hacker, one goal i have this year is to finally catch a keeper size bass from the ditch. have never caught a bass there.probably fished there a total of 8-10 times and usually was so hammered wouldn't have known if i did
GBOUTDOORS 02-13-2002, 10:28 PM John where you really want to go is about 1 mile east of it and I now how we can get there:D
Goose 02-13-2002, 10:29 PM Red, I can do rods any time up until 2nd week of march, after that I start workin and fishin.I won't bother you again about that.
